Willow Grove, PA – Asplundh has deployed one of the largest storm relief and reconstruction efforts in the company’s history in response to Hurricane Helene, which made landfall in Florida as a category 4 storm. Today, more than 8,000 Asplundh employees are taking part in storm restoration efforts in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and Virginia, helping our utility partners through this very difficult event.
The company’s One Asplundh unified storm response prepared several days before the storm made landfall, mobilizing more than 2,800 available vegetation, line crews, safety professionals and engineering personnel from more than 40 operating regions across the country to bolster teams working throughout the affected regions, especially those hardest hit in the southeastern United States.
“The damage wrought by this catastrophic hurricane has required Asplundh to mobilize one of the most significant storm responses in our company’s history,” said CEO Matt Asplundh. “Our teams have been working around the clock to provide our utility partners the support they need to restore power in every affected community as safely and quickly as possible.
